Meet the Directors


photo of Bobby Byrd
Robert C. Byrd is a founder and Chairman of the Board of Bank of Bartlett and Bartlett Mortgage and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. He holds both a BBA and MS degree in Marketing from the University of Memphis. As a steadfast supporter of education, Bob served on the TN State Board of Education from 1987-1996 and has also served on the boards of trustees for LeMoyne-Owen College and St. George's Independent School.

Dan R. Byrd is a founder of Bank of Bartlett and Bartlett Mortgage and holds the positions of Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Chief Operating Officer. Dan is a graduate of Memphis State University. From 1982 to 1996, he served District 99 as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives. During his tenure as a representative, Dan chaired and served on numerous committees and passed into law many of the most important pieces of legislation enacted during this period.

Harold W. Byrd is a founder, Vice Chairman, and President for the Bank of Bartlett. A graduate of University of Memphis, Harold received BBA and MS degrees in Marketing. From 1976 to 1982, he served District 99 as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for three terms. Harold serves as a member of several civic organizations and is currently the President of the Shelby County Chamber Alliance, the suburban chamber alliance of the Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland, and Millington Chambers of Commerce. His enthusiastic support for the University of Memphis has been recognized with the Distinguished University of Memphis Alumni Award and the Silver M Athletic Award.



photo headshot of Justin ByrdJustin Byrd began his career with Bank of Bartlett in 2009. As Controller and then promoted to Chief Financial Officer and 1st Senior Vice President, his primary areas of focus include fixed income portfolio management, asset-liability management, and financial reporting. Justin earned a Bachelors in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, a Masters in Science of Accountancy from University of Memphis, and a Certified Public Accountant designation (inactive). He currently serves as a member of Board of Directors for the TN Bankers Association Independent Bankers Division and the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce.

Patrick W. Lawler is Chief Executive Officer of Youth Villages, one of the largest private providers of services to troubled children and their families in the country. Youth Villages provides services to more than 39,000 youth each year in 101 locations across 25 states with 4,000 employees. He began as a counselor at Tall Trees Guidance School when he was 18 years old and then worked at the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County for five years before becoming CEO of Youth Villages. Pat also serves on boards with the Diocesan Review, the Society of Entrepreneurs, and St. Paul Elementary School. He is a graduate of Memphis State University.
